Just in case you’d like to study up for tomorrow evening… We are getting excited!! FYI we are using bubbles instead of rice and water sprayer.

Here are some pro tips...
-Bring a lawn chair or cushion for comfier watching.
-Fell free to dress up
-Bring your own snacks and beverage of your choice

Cooking Club announcement!

The Cooking Club will meet monthly on the first Saturday of every month at 1PM at the Eldon Library Hall. This is a potluck style cooking club. Simply select a dish based on the theme and show up ready to share and eat other club members' creations. We can discuss the recipes, what you would add or subtract next time, and maybe learn a thing or two. Please bring the recipe with you.

November 7th- Thanksgiving Trials Dish
Did you just turn 25 and now are expected to show up to the family Thanksgiving with a real side dish instead of plastic cups and silverware? Gasp! Are you scared to make a brand new recipe for the holiday? Do you want a practice run before you attempt great grandma Gurty's secret mac and cheese recipe? Worry not dear citizen, join the club!

Join us at the Eldon Public Library for our first meeting. There will be no cooking this time. We will discuss the first recipe(s?) we would like to try, scheduling, and food safety.

What can I look forward to at the Eldon Public Library? Coming soon …

-Midnight(ish) screenings of the Rocky Horror Picture Show complete with props and crowd participation. (October)

-Dungeons and Dragons “one shots”
Create a level 4 character of your own or pick a premade character and come exercise your story telling/role play skills. No experience necessary.

-Cooking club hosted at the library hall. Once a month participate in a themed potluck style cooking club. Examples would include “On a Stick”, “Comfort Food”, and themes surrounding movies or books.
