The City of Elgin is partnering with Friends of the Fox River for It's Our Fox River Day this Saturday, Sept. 19, and we're inviting the community to join in!

Help celebrate, protect and restore the health of the Fox River by participating in any of the five cleanup locations in Elgin this year:

- Tailoring Youth to Succeed – Voyageur Landing Forest Preserve, 50 Airport Rd. | 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Elgin History Museum – 360 Park St. | 12 – 2 p.m.
- Clown Cleanup – Hemmens, 45 Symphony Way | 3 – 6 p.m.
- Tyler Creek Watershed Coalition – 31 S. Grove Ave. | 3 – 7 p.m.
- Elgin IKES Creek Cleanup – 899 Jay St. | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
