Oh, the Story Hour fun we had Wednesday morning at our beautiful Elgin Public Library! With a focus on items in our world that are round, those who attended heard a wonderful story before embarking on the first-of-its-kind Story Hour scavenger hunt, during which we all pitched in to scour the library for many of the objects, from coins to cartwheels, that appeared in our book! We are pleased to report that, working as a team, we successfully found all the items on our list! Thanks to those who participated, and we invite everyone to join us next Wednesday for what should be our most amazing session yet!

From jalopies and roller skates to row boats and pogo sticks, transportation of every kind was front and center during the most recent Story Hour session at our beautiful Elgin Public Library! After hearing a high-flying tale of a lovable gorilla family and each member's different journey home, those in attendance designed their very own hot air balloons, complete with a multitude of amazing colors! Thanks to all who attended, and we hope those with ascending readers can join us next Wednesday, when our story's focus will be on one particularly familiar shape--but we'll get 'round to that later!
