Today we had 40 teams signed up to play in the 7th Annual VFW Post 2166 Auxiliary Golf Tournament. Thanks to all that came out to play and support our Post's mission to take care of veterans! We ask that you each take a moment to remember those veterans who have made the ultimate sacrifice to allow us to be where we are today.

Together, as a community, we gather in solemn remembrance to pay tribute to our fallen heroes whose courage, sacrifice, and devotion to duty, secured the freedoms we enjoy today.

We look forward to honoring our nation’s heroes with dignity, respect, and gratitude.

***Clarifying Comment***

At 10am the Boy Scouts will be providing a demonstration of flag placement and immediately following, kick off a brief ceremony. At the conclusion of their ceremony, the public will begin placing flags. Flag placement will take place rain or shine.

Mountain Home National Cemetery would like to invite the community to join us in placing flags on the gravesites of our nation’s heroes in preparation for Memorial Day.

This special tradition serves as a meaningful reminder of the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. As we place each flag, we honor their memory and ensure their sacrifice is never forgotten.🇺🇸
