🚒📚Storytime with a little extra spark!📚🚒

A big THANK YOU to the Elizabethton Fire Department for joining us at storytime this week in honor of Fire Safety Month! We had a blast learning about fire safety, including how to Stop, Drop, and Roll and watching Firefighter Ben put on his turnout gear.

We are so thankful to our firefighters for making fire safety fun and engaging for our little readers! 💖🚒

🎨 Art is finding a new home at the library!

The Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library is excited to partner with August Muse, who applied for and received railing hardware through the American Express Backing Small Business grant to help us display local artwork throughout our library.

We’re thrilled to have Jeff Edens (in below photo) and Don Rogers among the first artists featured! Their work adds creativity, color, and a wonderful sense of community to our space.

We’re grateful for partnerships that help us celebrate local artists and make the library a place where creativity can be shared and enjoyed by everyone. ❤️📚🎨
