📣 Let's celebrate this exciting new chapter for Dino’s Restaurant ! 📣

Lydia Depew and the Depew family are the official new owners of Dino’s Restaurant! 🎉

For 63 years, Dino’s has been a downtown staple, serving generations of customers and creating lasting memories around the table through good food, familiar faces, and a tradition of hospitality. When Dino’s first opened its doors in 1963, it served the first lasagna in East Tennessee! 🥖

For Lydia, this new chapter is especially meaningful. She began working at Dino’s as a server in 2019 under the Williams family, building relationships with customers and developing a deep appreciation for the restaurant’s history, recipes, and traditions. 🍝

Now, Lydia and her family are carrying that legacy forward with a commitment to preserving what makes Dino’s special while bringing new life, new energy, and new stories to this downtown favorite. 🥰

We’re excited to celebrate this next chapter with the Depew family as they honor Dino’s rich history and continue making memories for generations to come. Here’s to Old Soul, New Stories! ❤️

Dine at Dino's Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

🩷 Friday, September 25 is officially Dolly Parton Day in Carter County! 🩷

Mayor Patty Woodby has proclaimed September 25, 2026, as *Dolly Parton Day*, recognizing Dolly’s lifelong dedication to East Tennessee, her commitment to children and literacy, and her generosity to communities in times of need.

From the Imagination Library to her support of East Tennessee following Hurricane Helene, Dolly’s generosity, compassion, and Appalachian spirit have left a lasting impact here at home and around the world.

September 25 — 9/25 — is a fitting date to honor the East Tennessee icon who gave us “9 to 5.” 🎶

Carter County is proud to join in honoring the life and legacy of Dolly Parton!🩷🦋
