Don't let the cold weather keep you away - Tomorrow is the LAST POP Club day of 2026 at the Hardin County Farmers' Market! We have had such a great year and we are sad to see it come to a close!
Saturday October 17
from 9:00 - 11:00 am
For youth ages 3-18 (those younger than 3 can sample whatever we have in the taste kitchen for bucks!)
Youth will complete the activity and sample the highlighted item to earn market money!
POP Club is:
🥕 FUN
🍓 EDUCATIONAL
🍞 And you earn free money to spend at the market!
If you've saved up any POP Bucks this year from earlier POP Club days, tomorrow is the day to spend them! Those bucks must be spent this market year.

This event is hosted by the Hardin County Extension Homemakers and will take place at 111 Opportunity Way in Elizabethtown on November 14.

Hardin County will join Daviess, Edmonson, and Union Counties at West Kentucky 4-H Camp in Dawson Springs from June 1st through 4th! Registration opens in late winter! We'll share more info here and at https://extension.mgcafe.uky.edu/hardin/hardin-county-4-h-summer-camp as it becomes available.

Looking for some uninterrupted time to sew, quilt, embroider or work on any other type of needlework project? It's time for our annual Sleep in Your Bed Quilt Retreat - where you bring your project, start a new one, finish a few you've had in your WIP pile for awhile - whatever you need. But you do so with friends! Social time plus the brain engagement involved in using a skill makes these 4 days a win-win!
RSVP is required. Your only cost is a non-perishable item for the blessing boxes each day you attend! Bring your lunch, order it in, or leave your projects for a bit and head out with friends old and new!

🏕️🌲 LAUGH & LEARN: CAMPING ADVENTURE! 🌲🏕️

Grab your sleeping bag, pack your backpack, and get ready for an adventure! 🥾🔦 We’re heading to the great outdoors for this month’s Laugh & Learn, just in time for National Parks & Recreation Month!

Our little explorers will get to pretend they’re camping, explore the outdoors, go on an adventure, and enjoy lots of hands-on activities designed especially for our youngest learners. 🌲🦋🏕️

We’ll have opportunities for:
⛺ Dramatic play
🥾 Gross motor adventures
🐻 Outdoor-inspired sensory play
🔎 Exploring & discovery
🎨 A fun craft
🍎 A camping-themed snack
…and plenty of opportunities to PLAY, EXPLORE & LEARN!
