Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day is this Friday, November 14.
We’ll meet at Simpson Park at 7:50 AM and begin walking at 8:05 AM. Crisswell gate will be closed except for PreK and Levels.
Rain is expected, but the walk is still on! We’ll enter through the main gates together as a community, like Walk and Roll to School Day.
The Board Resolution honoring Ruby Bridges will be read in the Quad if the weather allows, or over the intercom if it’s raining. Bigger Than Us (BTU) will lead our procession.
We’ll also have Ruby Bridges memorabilia available at the event while supplies last.
