The Elk Grove Youth Commission is kicking off a food drive to support the Elk Grove Food Bank, and we need your help! From May 6 to May 20, we’ll be collecting non-perishable food items to help ensure our neighbors in need have access to nutritious meals.
Did you know that many in our community are in need and food vulnerable? Even a small donation can make a difference. Here’s how you can get involved:
• Look for the collection bins: We’ll have bins in City Hall, the Animal Shelter, and District56.
• Clean out your pantry: Canned goods, pasta, rice, beans, and breakfast cereals are all great options; please, nothing expired.
• Spread the word: Tell your friends and family, and make this food drive a huge success!

Calling all teens (and parents of teens)! 🎉
Don’t miss out on the best end of school party there is on Saturday, May 13.
