We have something exciting to share! Thanks to all of your support at our fundraisers and donations from local businesses, we were able to purchase a new set of electric extrication equipment from TNT for $35,760! We hope we never have to use these tools but are ready if we do. Thank you to our community for visiting our car show, buying chili at our chili feed, supporting our raffles, and supporting every other event we have done! We couldn’t do it without you! They are currently on display at our open house for Halloween, so please stop by and take a look at what YOU purchased!

Last night, our members were able to do some training on farm rescue. We did multiple scenarios simulating different accidents that could occur on a farm.

This training was especially important with harvest season coming up, as this is the time of year that a lot of this type of equipment is being used!

Big thank you to local farmer Tony Christopherson for allowing us to use his farm for the training! (And thank you for the snacks afterward!)

The Elk Mound Fire District would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Vino Cappuccino for hosting a First Responder Night and the generous donation to our department. Your support means so much to our firefighters and to the entire Elk Mound community.

We’d also like to give a huge thank you to the Elk Mound Area Lions Club for holding a raffle during the event and donating those proceeds to the Fire District. We truly appreciate you taking the time to support our department and the work we do for our community.

A special thank you as well to Colfax Wisconsin EMS and Dunn County Sheriff's Office for your involvement and support at the event.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone in our community who came out, participated, donated, and showed their support. The generosity and encouragement we receive is something we never take for granted.

We are incredibly fortunate to serve a community that stands behind its first responders. Your support helps us continue to train, upgrade our equipment, and be ready when our neighbors need us most.

We are doing hydrant training tonight. Some residents may have brown water from their faucets for a short time. Although aesthetically displeasing, it is still safe. This is a common issue from flowing large amounts of water and you can run your faucets until clear.
