Emergency Management involves more than tornadoes and other severe weather. We can be called to assist on a wide variety of situations and we respond 24x7 to those incidents.

When people think of Iowa hazards, tornadoes usually come to mind — but they're only part of the picture.

Iowans may also experience:
🌪️ Severe thunderstorms
🌊 Flooding
❄️ Winter storms
🌡️ Extreme heat
⚡ Power outages
🚛 Hazardous materials incidents

Knowing the risks where you live is the first step toward being prepared.
