Each morning, our students watch the morning announcements. There is always a clip about Monger Pride, being kind, safety or bully prevention. This week, our students helped out with the Mustang Creed and we just had to share! 💙💛

Today we wrapped up National School Lunch Week!

We have the BEST team of ladies serving our children each day! They are kind and loving and take pride in everything they do! The Health Department paid them a surprise visit this week and they earned a 100% rating! 🎉

Even though it’s a week to celebrate them, they planned a “pink out” day today in honor of breast cancer awareness! We loved all the participation from our students and staff! We are so blessed to have such an amazing school! 🩷🩷

Mrs. Rivenes’ gardening club has been hard at work sprucing up our courtyard! First, they started with weeding and cleaning up the overgrown courtyard. Once they had things cleaned up, they started researching different types of annuals, perennials and planting conditions in order to plan out the landscaping.

The gardening club are also drafting letters to staff and local businesses to donate supplies like mulch, starter plants and gardening tools!

This week, students have been working on creating landscaping stones to put in the courtyard. Can you tell that they will spell MONGER?

We can’t wait to see the before and after pictures!

Kindergarteners have been learning about the 5 Senses. To end their unit, they got to try a variety of foods and describe their tastes, smells, sights, sounds and feels.

Then they voted with a thumbs up if they liked it or a thumbs down if it wasn’t for them! We sure got a kick out of the faces we saw for the 👎🏼 votes! 🤭
