Today is National Indigenous People's Day. Please join us as we honor all Native Americans who have served in our nation's military.

Did you know that Native Americans serve in the US Armed Forces at five times the national average and have served with distinction in every major conflict since the Revolutionary War? Did you know that almost 20% of all Native American service members are women?

Native Americans have a long history of service in the US military, and WDVA extends our sincere appreciation for your dedication, service, and sacrifice.

Big Foot High School is looking to honor Veterans who attended Big Foot High School. If you did or know someone who did let them know the branch of service and years they served.

We are looking for your help
We are trying to build up a database or list of former Big Foot students who served in the military and have since passed away. Our upcoming Voices of America choir concert will include a presentation honoring those alumni, along with family members of our current choir students who served. If you know of any alumni, we would love to include them in the tribute. Please personal message or reach out to us here with their name what branch they served in if you have the year, they graduated and they’re year, birth, and date of death. If you don’t have all that information just at least their name would be great. Thank you

Did you go to Williams Bay High School or know someone who did and served in the military??? They are looking to add former students to their wall of honor.

Williams Bay alumni—we need your help.

Think back to your classmates.

Who joined the Army? Navy? Air Force? Marine Corps? Coast Guard? Space Force? Who served years ago whose story may not be widely known?

We’re building the Williams Bay Veterans Wall of Honor, and we don’t want anyone to be overlooked.

Tag a classmate. Send this to an old friend. Share it with your class group.

Together, our community can help us recognize the Williams Bay veterans who served our country.
📲 Veteran information can be submitted through our recognition form.
