October is Fire Prevention Month, and our volunteers have been out in the community, spreading the word about fire safety and sharing important tips.

Today, a group of volunteers visited OLPH Pre-K through 3rd-grade students. The students were given the opportunity to check out one of our fire engines and learn about the equipment firefighters use when responding to emergencies.

Stop using your device right away if the battery smells strange, is warm to the touch, makes popping noises, changes in shape or color, or if you see smoke. If it is safe, move the device away from anything that can catch fire. A damaged battery can overheat and start a fire.

See you this Saturday for our Open House!
