Just a quick reminder that the County's holiday "slide" schedule is NOT in effect next week as there will be REGULAR Monday curbside trash, recycling, yard trim, and food scrap collection on October 12th, even though Howard County Government offices will be closed in observance of the Indigenous Peoples’ Day holiday.

JUST ANNOUNCED! The County's Bureau of Environmental Services "Feed the Green Bin" curbside food scrap collection program is expanding! Starting next week, eligible households in Ellicott City and Marriottsville will receive a trifold postcard in the mail with more information about the program and how to sign up. Interested households will have until Friday, October 16th to register for the program to receive their green bin by late October.

To find out if your home is in the newly expanded zone and to sign-up, or to learn more about the Bureau's curbside food scrap program, visit its "Feed The Green Bin" webpage at www.feedthegreenbin.org.
