The farmers market is located at 1 Broad Street behind the Ellijay welcome center. Tonight we were able to recognize achievements of Gilmer 4-H’ers over the past year with our annual Award’s Ceremony! We are so proud of the growth we’ve seen in participation as well as key achievements at competitionsthis year! Among the special recognition, we want to give shoutouts to our Cloverleaf of the year-Millie G, our Junior of the year-Lucas W. and our Senior 4-H’er of the year Isabelle G! We also awarded a college scholarship to Addison A for her achievements and dedication from a 4th-12th grade Gilmer 4-H’er! It was a great night to celebrate some special kiddos! Next up 4-H summer camp and summer day trips!

What a GREAT weekend Gilmer County 4-H had at Junior Rally at Wahsega 4-H Center! 💚
Our 4-H’ers spent the weekend making memories, building friendships, and taking on all kinds of exciting adventures — from the zipline, rock wall, and low ropes course to Gaga ball, the talent show, dance, and even a glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunt! 🌟🐣
There was plenty of laughter, lots of cheering each other on, and so many moments that reminded us why 4-H feels like family. Weekends like this help our young people grow in confidence, try new things, and create friendships that will last long after Junior Rally is over.
We are so proud of our Gilmer County crew for representing us well and making the very most of every minute! ☘️
