Bring a sample of your private well water for nitrate screening, Wednesday, October 21 from 2-5:30. More info below!

We will be at the Ellsworth Public Library from 2pm to 5:30pm on Wednesday, October 21st for free private well water nitrate screenings with Pierce County Land Conservation ! Bring in ~8 oz. of water in a closed container (preferably glass) collected within 24 hours of the event. It is important to run the tap for 5 minutes (on cold at full flow) before collecting the sample.

Help local kids stay warm this winter! Basics for Local Kids is now collecting winter boots, snow pants, coats and gloves for kids, newborn - 18 years old at the library. New/gently used items only! Drop off anytime during open hours.
