For the next couple of months, the Ellwood City Little Free Library, located in the Community Plaza on Lawrence Avenue, will be transformed into a Little Free Food Pantry.
Please feel free to take what you need or leave what you can to help our neighbors (and their pets) through the season. Every can, box, and gesture of kindness makes a difference.
As Mr. Rogers reminded us, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”
Let’s come together as a community of helpers, lending a hand and sharing what we can 🤍💙

Just swinging by to stock the Little Library with some fresh reads, just in time for the 4th of July! 🇺🇸
Come by to borrow a book, leave a favorite, or pick up a pocket Constitution.
A heartfelt thank you to EC for always keeping the children's section full and vibrant. Your support means so much. I truly love our little community 💙🤍

Today marks two years since I lost my best friend, Ryker. In his memory, I’ve placed some brand new toys inside of the library and filled the doggy treat container with some of Ryker’s favorite treats. Please feel free to bring your pet by to pick out a toy and a treat in honor of my sweet boy.
I’d love to see your pets at the Little Free Library—share pictures of them picking out a toy or playing with it in the comments below🐾🤍
We miss you, Ryker 🌈

Freshly restocked with back-to-school supplies! ✏️🖍️📓
Just a reminder that for the next few weeks, our Little Free Library will serve as a collection point for school supplies. We're seeking donations of basic items like pencils, notebooks, folders, glue, and erasers—anything that can help students thrive this school year. Simply drop off your donations at the Little Free Library. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference!
For those in need of school supplies, we kindly ask that you take only what you require so we can assist as many students as possible.
Thank you! 🍎

It's that time of year again!
As a teacher, I understand how costly back-to-school shopping can be, especially for families who struggle to afford essential supplies. Over the next few weeks, our Little Free Library will serve as a collection point for school supplies.
If you're interested in supporting classrooms in your local school district this year, consider purchasing items from teachers' Amazon wishlists. Teachers, feel free to share your wishlist link in the comments below, along with your school district and grade level/subject area.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness. Here's to a fantastic school year ahead for all students, teachers, and families! 🍎📚✏️

Almost 3 months ago, I lost my best friend of 16 years. I was a 6th grader at Hartman Elementary School when Ryker came into my life. Now a teacher of my own classroom in the Seneca Valley School District, as I look back on my life’s biggest and most special moments, Ryker has been there for them all. There are no words to describe how much I miss him ❤️
In honor of Ryker, I have installed a doggy treat container and a leash hook at the Little Free Library. Enjoy a book while your pup enjoys a treat.
Be sure to share photos of your furry friends enjoying a treat at the LFL. I think a pup cup from Ellwood Ice may go perfectly with a biscuit and a book 😉
A special thank you to Apple Grove Veterinary Clinic, especially Dr. Andy, for always taking such great care of my boy 🐾

Hey, EC!
If you have been by to visit the Library Free Library recently, you may have noticed that it is empty. If you have gently used children’s books that you are no longer using, feel free to put them into the LFL. I know that the kids of Ellwood and I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you! 💙

So proud to see my great-grandfathers’ photos hanging on 5th Street! A huge thank you to Gabby Gretch for organizing this incredible project! I can’t imagine the time and effort she had to put in from start to finish 💙🤍🇺🇸
