It's not easy to put into words how much this Innovative Readiness Training has impacted everyone involved, but we tried our best! Thank you, Ellwood City!

Mission Success: Operation Healthy Ellwood wraps up 10-day no-cost clinic More than 160 joint service members from four branches and 33 different units came together to provide no-cost medical care to a local community while sharpening mission-essential skills as a part of the Operation Healthy Ellwood Innovative Readiness Training.

This morning, we welcomed Reymoundo into our clinic. The man, currently homeless, drove 5+ hours overnight to receive dental care - which we were able to provide at no-cost. 🦷

🦷 If you are planning to receive dental care from the clinic on Friday, we highly encourage you to do so either today or tomorrow, Thursday, July 31.

A huge thanks to our services, administration, communications, public affairs, logistics, transportation, protocol, safety, training, religious affairs, and other support teams for keeping Operation Healthy Ellwood medical staff fed, organized and inspired. These service members comprise about one-third of our OHE team.

Thank you to our community partners who helped with last night's mass casualty incident response exercise - we could not have done this without you! ⚕️

This training significantly enhanced our service members' military readiness while fulfilling the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)'s commitment to supporting American communities.

Don't forget, our clinic operations are still running through Friday, August 1 at Lincoln High School from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. If you have yet to receive care, make sure to swing by!

🚨 EXERCISE EXERCISE EXERCISE 🚨

Tonight (Tuesday, July 29), from 6 to 8 p.m., military personnel and local emergency services will conduct a Mass Casualty Incident exercise involving simulated casualties, emergency triage, and coordination among multiple response agencies as part of .

Lawrence Avenue between 4th and 6th Streets will be closed to public traffic starting at 1:00 p.m. for exercise setup and will reopen following the conclusion of the event.

Members of the public should anticipate loud sounds, emergency vehicle sirens, simulated injuries and the use of high-fidelity manikins to create a realistic training environment.

⚠️ Attention all Ellwoodians and supporters: Today (Tuesday, July 29) is the last day of shuttle service. Please note that this is an update to previous posts about this service. ⚠️

The shuttle pickup location is the Ellwood City Hospital parking lot, located at 724 Pershing Street, Ellwood City PA 16117.

As always, the shuttle cannot transport pets, nor does the shuttle run to the veterinary clinic site.
