REQUEST FOR SNOW PLOW BIDS

Service Period: November 1, 2026 – April 1, 2027

Bid Deadline: October 1, 2026 at 6:00 PM

Bid Requirements

Bids must include the following:

* Snow plowing of the fire company parking lot following a minimum 3-inch snow accumulation.
* 24-hour coverage for snow events.
* Sidewalk clearing.
* Restoration of any lawn or landscaped areas damaged or affected by snow-plowing operations.
* Contractor must provide proof of current liability insurance.

Exclusions / Additional Services

The following services are not included in the base snow-plowing bid:

* High-lift/loader services.
* Dump truck services for snow removal.
* Salt or ice-melting applications. Salt application will be performed at the discretion of the Jamison Road Volunteer Fire Company and may be handled separately.

The members of the Jamison Road Fire Company extend our deepest condolences to the Meyers family, friends, and our brothers and sisters at the East Aurora Fire Department.

Rest in peace, Chief. We’ll take it from here.

It is with great sadness that the East Aurora Fire Department announces the passing of Past Chief David Meyer.

Chief Meyer dedicated a significant part of his life to serving the East Aurora community and the members of the East Aurora Fire Department. His leadership, commitment, and service helped shape our department and left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of serving alongside him.

Today, we remember Chief Meyer not only for the position he held, but for the firefighter, leader, and friend he was to so many.

On behalf of the East Aurora Fire Department, we extend our deepest condolences to Chief Meyer’s family, friends, and all those who knew and worked alongside him.

Rest easy, Chief. Your service will not be forgotten.
