Do you keep a fire extinguisher in your house? You should. Early intervention can prevent small fires from becoming a large problem. If you've never used a fire extinguisher don't worry, we have some way to follow instructive for you.

Have you made a plan with your family? It's never the wrong time to discuss emergency plans with your family members.

❤️🚑 5 DAYS TO GO! 🚑❤️

When we say “Thank you for supporting Elmwood Rescue,” we really mean it.

Community support isn't just a number on a fundraising total.

It becomes equipment.

It becomes training.

It helps keep our ambulances ready.

And ultimately, it helps our volunteers provide better care when someone in our community needs us.

We have been incredibly fortunate to have the support of our community, local businesses, area foundations, and everyone who attends events like our Fall Fundraiser.

You've helped us improve before, and we're asking you to help us keep moving forward.

Join us October 11 and see what a small community can accomplish when it comes together.

Every house should have a smoke detector installed on each floor and outside sleeping areas. You should be able to hear the smoke detector in every bedroom. Test the smoke detector each month and remember to replace the batteries at least once per year. We recommend changing batteries at daylight savings time when you change your clocks.
