The Knauss Homestead The Knauss Homestead was built in 1777 by Heinrich Knauss for his father, Moravian settler and founder of Emmaus, Sebastian Knauss.

On the National Register of Historic Places, it’s where the Lehigh Valley can gather and share their love of history. The Knauss Homestead was built in 1777 by Henry Knauss, son of Sebastian Henrich Knauss in Emmaus PA on land donated by Sebastian Heinrich Knauss.

Our 4th Annual Harvest Festival is shaping up to be one of our biggest events yet, and with an unprecedented turnout expected, we could use a few extra hands to help make it an incredible day!

We’re looking for some great volunteers who can spend a few hours with us this Saturday helping everything run smoothly. Whether you can help before, during, or after the festival, we’d love to have you on our team!

Here’s what we need help with:

Parking attendants
Event setup
Event cleanup

Time is running out to secure your beautiful, flat and shaded 10 x 10 spot at one of the Lehigh Valley’s most popular fall festivals!

Come and enjoy a beautiful autumn day with about 500 of our closest friends as we celebrate our history, our community, and the arts on the grounds of one of the Lehigh Valley‘s oldest surviving Homesteads.

We’ve got horse and carriage rides, live music, and more food and drink than you can possibly consume in one day!

Your space is only $75 and those funds go directly to support the Homestead preservation efforts. We don’t do profit-sharing or anything like that. Your sales are all yours!
