💙 Making More Opportunities Possible
The Emmett Early Learning Collaborative and Carberry Community Schools Program are grant-funded initiatives under the Emmett School District umbrella. We are grateful for the outside organizations, funding, and resources that help make programs like Play-2-Learn possible for our students and families.

These additional opportunities also take extensive work behind the scenes from district staff who seek out funding, build partnerships, and coordinate programs and services that go beyond the classroom. Their efforts help bring valuable resources directly to children and families throughout our schools and community.

To keep updated with other opportunities available for young children in our community, make sure to follow Emmett Early Learning Collaborative on Facebook!

🚀 Congratulations to the 2026–2027 Carberry NASA Student Specialists! 🔬✨

The Carberry NASA Specialist Program gives students the opportunity to explore science and STEM beyond the school day! Interested students apply and are selected to participate as NASA Student Specialists.

Throughout the year, these students will complete hands-on science and STEM projects, take on leadership opportunities, and share what they learn. They’ll also help inspire and support other Carberry students to participate in school-wide science projects! 🧪🪐

👏 Congratulations to this year’s NASA Student Specialists! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see everything you accomplish this year!

Yay for Mrs. Thompsen! We are so thankful she is a Carberry Huskie!

🎉 It’s Community Schools Coordinators Week! 🎉

We have a wonderful team of Community Schools Coordinators working behind the scenes to support student success across Emmett School District! 💙
Community Schools Coordinators connect students, families, schools, and our community, helping build partnerships, coordinate resources, and create opportunities for students and families.

👋 Aimee Thomsen is the amazing Community Schools Coordinator at Carberry Elementary!

Mrs. Thomsen says Carberry students inspire her every day as she works to build an even stronger school community. This year, she is especially excited about strengthening local partnerships and creating more opportunities to support students and families! 💙

There have already been some great things happening at Carberry, courtesy of Community Schools! Students have opportunities to learn, explore, and connect beyond the school day through Huskie Explorers after-school programs, Mighty Math, and Friday Field Trips and Activities! 📚🚌✨

Mrs. Thomsen is also looking forward to family engagement events throughout the year and an exciting partnership with the Emmett Early Learning Collaborative. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
Mrs. Thompson says “This year is shaping up to be nothing short of amazing and I am proud to be an Emmett Huskie!”

🙌 Thank you, Mrs. Thomsen, for building connections, creating opportunities, and helping make Carberry an amazing place for students and families! 💙🐾
