Congratulations to one of our own!!!

We would like to give a 🎉BIG CONGRATS🎉to 2026 Spring AEMT Course, Steven Martinez, for successfully passing his National Registry Exam! ✅ From Day One, Steven made a commitment to drive from southern Brooks County each and every time we met for lecture, skills, and exams in order to see this through. Steven was first introduced to us several years back as an EMR student finishing up High School. He worked to get his EMT after that (on his own) before reaching out to us about our Advanced EMT course. As he continues to develop his young career helping others, we want to congratulate him for all of the hard work he is putting in😃!
Enjoy your achievement, Steven! ✅

SBVFD is planning to have a fund raiser/garage sale, if you would like to set up a booth at the garage sale there will not be a booth fee. Only thing we ask is you don’t sell food! We are also planning on playing loteria/bingo for prizes and selling food. The date we are looking at is July 25th more info will be provided at a later date.

Congratulations to our Kindergarten Graduates, class of ‘2038 🎓🚒

Today, our community celebrates a very special milestone as y’all take your first big steps toward a bright future.
Watching y’all learn, grow, and shine this year has filled us all with pride.

Here at the Fire Department, we believe strong communities are built by supporting one another — and that includes celebrating the achievements of our youngest members. Y’alls smile, curiosity, and determination remind us why we work every day to protect and serve this community.

Always remember: your community is cheering each of you on every step of the way. Keep being kind, brave, and proud of who you are. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things y’all accomplish.

Congratulations from all of us at Southern Brooks Volunteer Fire Department & your proud community! 🚒❤️
