Over the course of roughly 20 years, Donna Gavula was a part of the AOP family in one way or another. Donna served on AOP's Board of Directors, worked in collaboration with AOP through various committees, volunteered, and finally as a member of staff working in the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program.

Donna was not someone that you would forget knowing. It was impossible. Her positive energy and radiant smile etched its way into your heart. Donna could just sense you needed a quick smile, a touch on the arm, and then a wink. Done, you felt better. It was a part of her magic.

Donna WAS magic.

We send our condolences to her family and friends, and we will forever be grateful to have been a part of Donna's beautiful life. We hope to continue her positive legacy of good deeds, love, and hope.

We love you, Donna.
