We hope you'll come out to see us tomorrow! We're very excited to meet you!

NOTE: Not all fire departments will have car seat checks, but Firefighter Joe will be at the Shaker Pines station.

We are beyond proud to announce the promotion of Firefighter/EMT Lila Smyth! Lila has joined the B Shift, and is now the town of Enfield's very first female full-time firefighter.

Lila joined the Shaker Pines Fire Department cadet program at the age of 15. She has always been an eager learner and has never shied away from any new skill. She completed Firefighter I, and moved right into her EMT certification. Becoming a certified driver this summer, she was fully prepared for this new position. Lila was named Firefighter of the Year for 2025.

Congratulations, Lila! We are so incredibly proud of you!

On an otherwise somber day, we would like to thank Enfield’s children for their thoughtful cards and letters. Our morning is a little brighter as a result of your creativity!
