"George Washington headquartered in Englishtown after the Battle of Monmouth—our borough holds one of the state's most direct Revolutionary connections.
We sit on prime history, yet Mayor Francisco shows no interest in America's 250th anniversary.
The previous council endorsed RevolutionNJ via Resolution 2025-045 in January 2025.
Under Francisco and his New council:
As far as we know. No local events.
No coordination with Monmouth NJ 250.
Nothing on the Englishtown borough web site.
No outreach to Freehold, Manalapan, or other neighbors.
No public statement.
No visible interest whatsoever.
no follow-through—complete indifference while neighbors prepare.
Our legacy deserves active leadership, 🇺🇸 "
