Enid is full of opportunity, heritage, and vibrant life - and I’m proud to be part of its growth. (Personal page not monitored or funded by City of Enid)

Former educator and Enid business owner, passionate about serving the city I call home.

I enjoyed representing Enid today in Tulsa as part of a panel discussion at Aspen Ideas: Economy, where we discussed long-term economic growth.

Enid has a lot to be proud of, especially our talented workforce. With two colleges, one of the strongest career and technical education programs in the state, and our longstanding partnership with Vance Air Force Base, we have a strong foundation for the future.

We’re building on those strengths by recruiting industries that bring good jobs to Enid and partner with our schools to develop and retain local talent.

I’m proud of where Enid is today and excited about where we’re headed!

Late last week, I had the opportunity to attend the Heartland Leadership Forum in Bentonville, Arkansas, and hear from Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Secretary Condoleezza Rice, and other leaders who are working to strengthen communities across our region.

I was especially proud to see Enid and Perry recognized as two Oklahoma cities considered investment-ready communities. That recognition reflects the work being done to support businesses looking to grow or relocate, while continuing to invest in education, workforce training, and health care.

It was a pleasure hearing from leaders who are seeing their own communities emerge as leaders in their states and sharing ideas about what it takes to create long-term growth.

I’m proud Enid is part of that conversation and excited about the opportunities ahead for our community.

Every investment in our community represents people who believe in Enid and want to be part of its future. I’m grateful for everyone who continues to invest their time, resources and energy right here at home.

There’s a lot to look forward to in Enid, and I’m proud of the progress we continue to make together.

A lot is happening in Enid, and I’m glad to share a few updates on what’s going on around our community.

Take a few minutes to watch, and I hope to see you out and about in the community!

There’s something so wholesome about the Cherokee strip parade and all the wonderful smiling faces. Thanks to all the vehicle owners that rode today and thanks Northcutt Chevrolet for lending today’s ride.

Lastly, I appreciate mini Mayor Mack for tagging along with me!

Happy 79th Birthday to the United States Air Force!

Since 1947, generations of Airmen have answered the call to serve our nation with courage, dedication, and sacrifice. Today, we honor all those who have worn the uniform and the families who have supported them along the way.

Here in Enid, we are especially proud of our strong relationship with Vance Air Force Base and grateful for the Airmen and families who are such an important part of our community.

To everyone who has served or continues to serve in the United States Air Force, thank you for your service to our country. Enid is proud to stand with you.

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the first responders and everyday Americans who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Twenty-five years later, we will never forget the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call and the unity our nation showed in the days that followed.

A hot day is turning into a beautiful evening.

Thanks to all for coming down town this weekend for Septembers First Friday event. It takes our people showing up to make these events happen and hot or cold rain or shine our residents continue to show up and support our community.

Have a great weekend in Enid, America.

I don’t get to spend much time on the golf course, but I enjoyed getting out this morning to support the Enid High Pom team at their annual golf tournament. Thanks for having me!

I also want to recognize the team at Meadowlake Golf Course. They do an excellent job taking care of our municipal course and were great hosts for today’s tournament. We’re fortunate to have such a great course right here in Enid!
