Happy National Dog Day from our Enumclaw Police pups!

We have a host of dogs in the Enumclaw Police family. We recently redid our department photos and many of our staff took the opportunity to include their pets in their photos. Pictured here, we have Patrol Sergeant Bryan with his pug, Carlton, Corrections Officer Ives with his pug, Sushi, Communications Officer Tracie with her therapy lab, Backup, Records Manager Sarah with her Frenchie/Boston Terrier, Milly, and Detective Sergeant Johnson with her Cane Corso, Jax. We do not have any official K9s in our department, but we definitely have a lot of love for our canine companions.

Update: 244th is back open

244th CLOSED FOR BRUSH FIRE

244th is closed from Roosevelt to Griffin for a brush fire. The brush fire was caused by a vehicle that damaged power lines, which has resulted in some power outages in town. Enumclaw Fire and Puget Sound Energy are on scene to manage the incident, as well. The road will be closed for several more hours, and for power outage updates, please check the Puget Sound Energy website. We will post more information here once we have updates.
