Dig up a Jurassic (or Late Cretaceous, depending on the dino) Classic and get rewarded for it in our Summer Reading Program, where reading and library themed activities combine for a season of adventure for those ages birth to 18. Miss Tessa and Miss Ashley want to send out a heartfelt "Thank you!" to all those who came to sing and dance with them last week at Storytime Jam. It was an absolute blast! They also want to remind you that storytime will be back next week on June 1st. They and all the other storytellers cannot wait to see everyone again!

The Children's Patio just got a lot more exciting! Come enjoy new furniture and toys. You didn't think the Erie Community Library could get better, but it did!

We will be having a grand opening celebration on Wednesday May 27th from 3-4pm to celebrate. Light snacks will be provided. All ages welcome--however the toys are geared towards elementary children and younger.

Local history is sometimes the most interesting to hear about, and presenter Linda Allour will be sharing the details on a pivotal moment in aviation history: Flight 629, the first confirmed sabotage/bombing of a commercial airplane in America - which tragically occurred just 8 miles from Longmont, Colorado. Join us as we learn and pay tribute with the Flight 629 Memorial Weld County.

Book Talk Tuesday is filled with many a diverse fantasy book recommendation and Sky is keeping us rolling with In the Night Garden, by Catherynne M. Valente, a collection of nested stories. This was the book that sparked Sky's love of the author. What books have sold you on an author and made you have to read everything that they write? Mine is T. Kingfisher's book, What Moves the Dead!
