On Oct. 3rd PHHC and the Erie County Firefighter Assoc. sponsored an electric vehicle and lithium battery training put on by Vehicle Response Training based out of Minnesota. VRT brought their mobile training trailer along with a 2021 Tesla model 3.
Approx. 50 firefighters from around Erie County and the City of Erie went through 4 hours of classroom training and past incidents involving EV's and hands on training in the trailer and around the Tesla.

This past February, we conducted a fundraiser for our local fire department. They have been such a great neighbor over the years, and we are happy to support an amazing group our community relies on every day.

The money raised was used to purchase a life-saving Auto-X Simulator to help train our first responders to quickly and safely remove trapped individuals.

We also learned that the closest training tool of this magnitude is in Connecticut - what a huge win for this community! Thank you, Perry Hi-Way Hose Company!
