Lunch adventure at Soba Erie on State Street!

I had such a great experience today at SobaEra-Tsaocaa, located in the old Molly Brannigan’s bar! Asian food done RIGHT! The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and ordering was easy using an iPad.

I had orange chicken with rice and a side of gyoza, and it was delicious! I only ate half, so lunch tomorrow is already taken care of. 😂 The meal that keeps on giving! The specialty Boba tea was fantastic, too, even though I forgot which flavor I ordered.

And the coolest part? My food was served by a ROBOT with the most pleasant voice!

Starting a new job is giving me the opportunity to explore more of downtown, and I’m discovering so many fantastic places to eat and visit, even on a lunch break or after work. Sometimes the best adventures are right in your own backyard!

Is it time to turn on the heat? I know many of you MUST wait until November 1st! It’s your rule, but when do you break it - ha ha! For me, if I’m cold I turn it up. (Surrounding counties also have alerts for tonight)

Today I had business in Union City and Corry. You know Erie County.

Could not help seeing the beautiful fall scenery along the way. Then I saw some pumpkins for sale. 🍁🍂 Venango and Wattsburg area.

I originally got two. But then they had mini’s. Then I had more! I don’t even decorate for fall or Halloween.

So, I think I will paint them and give to to friends and maybe co-workers. 🎃🎃

Classic games in the past between the Rams and the Bills. I’m just looking for a game that’s over in the third quarter and I can go to bed and not wake up and find out 13 seconds happened. Tonight stuffed pepper soup again, but tonight, I made it in the pressure cooker. We’ll see how that works.

Tonight was emotional, heavy, and heartbreaking. 🕯️

It was an honor to stand alongside our community as we came together in peace, unity, and remembrance of the victims of last night’s tragic shooting. My heart goes out to all the families affected. ❤️🙏
