Manager Jacobs on North St between (Eastern and Union) showcasing the seal coating plus fog sealing results after the winter.
The contractor will be in the Borough starting Monday the 8th seal coating, then 3 weeks later after the chips have settled we will street sweep and then the contractor will come back out to fog seal, which will glue the surface together and hold it all down.

Please be advised that the next week will be action-packed with road work throughout the Borough!
On Thursday, June 4, and Friday, June 5, resurfacing work is scheduled for:
โข Center Street (Fremont Street to Edison Avenue)
โข Fremont Street (Water Street to Riverside Drive)
โข A spot repair on Eastern Avenue near Edison Avenue
Then, from Monday, June 8, through
Wednesday, June 10, weather permitting, seal coating (tar and chip) will be completed on approximately 37% of the Boroughโs road network. View the attached map for reference.
Unfortunately, there is no update on the Euclid Boulevard Reconstruction Project at this time. Borough staff, PennDOT, and the Borough Engineer continue to work to finalize the materials and documentation needed to move the project forward.

Please be advised, Skellie between Station and Market is shutdown due to a large tree that has come down, blocking the road and hitting an electrical line.
Fire dept. personnel and the Public Works crew are responding to the scene and will get it cleared as soon as possible.
