Flu season is here, and it’s a great time to protect yourself and those around you! The LECOM Center for Health and Aging is offering flu vaccinations, making it easy to take an important step toward staying healthy this season.

đź‘Ł Putting Our Best Foot Forward for International Podiatry Day! đź‘źđź’™

Over the past couple of weeks, our LECOM Institute for Successful Living buildings have been stepping up to celebrate International Podiatry Day in a meaningful way! 🎉

Through the generosity of donated shoes, residents across our communities had the opportunity to have their feet professionally sized and receive shoes selected to meet their individual foot needs. This initiative helped provide residents with footwear tailored to their needs while highlighting the importance of proper foot care, comfort, and mobility.

A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make this initiative possible, from coordinating shoe donations to sizing residents and helping them find the right fit. We’re also grateful to our podiatrists and podiatry students at LECOM for their dedication to supporting foot health and making a difference in the lives of our residents! 🦶✨

We’re proud of the teamwork, compassion, and care shown throughout our buildings. Here’s to healthier feet, happier steps, and continuing to make a difference — one step at a time! 💙

Our residents recently enjoyed a special visit from the LECOM Institute for Successful Living podiatrists, alongside talented LECOM School of Podiatric Medicine students and residents. As part of the celebration, each resident received a personalized foot fitting and a custom pair of shoes—a thoughtful gift designed to help them put their best foot forward! 👟✨
