It's down to the wire in Harrisburg for the perennial issue of public school funding. Here in Erie, financial support for culturally responsive enrichment programs for public school students hangs in the balance. I've posted a background article in the comments. The Pa. budget deadline is Sunday. There’s still no deal on education. As PA's budget deadline nears, lawmakers have found common ground on taxes, permitting, and college. But they’re far from a deal on education funding.
