The mission of Asbury Woods is to inspire a greater connection to the natural world by protecting, managing, and interpreting our property; providing outdoor recreational opportunities; and offering environmental education experiences.
Monday Music In the Woods continues tomorrow, June 8, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. as Angelo and Friends perform in the Celebration Garden. Food Truck for the night is Edogg's, and Sundae for a sweet treat. Erie Ale Works and Cellar 22 will be selling beer and wine through the night. Bring a lawn chair, and we hope to see you tomorrow night!

🌊 Level Up: MWEE Facilitator Workshop
PA Certified MWEE Ambassadors in Erie & Crawford Counties are invited to a free Act 48 hands-on, two-day professional learning experience to level up their MWEE knowledge and skills. This workshop will take place at Asbury Woods. Formal and non-formal educators can earn 12 Act 48 hours and receive a $190 stipend for participation.

We had sweet treats from Smiley's Ice Cream to celebrate this hardworking crew! Thank you to our education staff for their passion and hard work. Thank you to Greg and the PA Outdoor Corp for their muddy hours on the boardwalk. Thank you to the rest of the crew for keeping us going. Finally, welcome to our summer camp staff and summer interns!

Big news! Our Greenway Trail is back open as of today. Thank you to The PA Outdoor Corps Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources & our army of volunteers and staff who put in countless hours to complete this first phase. We could not have done this without the generous funding of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development & ECGRA - Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority. Please stay tuned for further updates on additional closures as work continues later this summer.
