Houston County TN Democrats

HCDP supports literacy for all. When you donate online to the Imagination Library on this inaugural Dolly Parton Day ( 🎶9/25🎶 ) you can designate Houston County as the recipient.

Give Like Dolly Day is coming September 25!

Dolly Parton believed in giving back and helping children dream bigger—and this year, we’re celebrating that spirit through Give Like Dolly Day.

On September 25, we’re inviting communities all over the world to join us in giving back to children by supporting your local Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program. Your support helps make it possible for the children in your community to receive a free, high-quality book every month from birth to age 5.

The catering for HCDP’s Webb Mitchum Fundraising Dinner is coordinated by Bonita Thomas Hall. Bonita and her brothers Cornelius “Bubba” Thomas and Sheriff Joe Thomas make sure the protein is on point. Bonita then enlists the help of volunteers to provide sides and desserts. Thank you for your work, Bonita!
