What do triangles, balance, toothpicks, counter balance, and marshmallows have in common? Engineering!!! This enrichment class was a HIT! The kids had so much fun learning some principles of engineering while getting messy and sneaking a few marshmallows in on the side! Homeschool enrichment is in full swing at the UCPL! We are in need of donations of candy to hand out for Halloween on Nolichucky on Halloween this year! All candy donations go directly to the public, so this is a great way to contribute to your library and your community all at once! Please bring candy by the library and leave it in our marked basket for donation. Thanks for everything this community does to support us throughout the year!

Monthly Must-Reads!!

It's the first Monday of the month and we have recommendations for October! Here are our picks from UCPL's children, teen and adult coordinators. Read personally by us, these books are regarded as absolute must-reads! As always, these titles are available through your local library. 😊

Tiny Tales happens every Monday at 9:45 am at the Unicoi County Public Library. A short, interactive time for babies and caregivers to learn songs and rhymes, this program is the perfect way to promote early literacy and provide social interaction for little ones (and parents!). We hope to see you soon!

Reminder! Tomorrow is our very first Little Musicians class and we are so excited! Starting at 11 am with no registration required, members of Johnson City Symphony Orchestra will teach little ones and their caregivers early music basics to spark a love of music. Call us for more information or just show up tomorrow for a fantastic program.
