Join Friends of Lake Hodges for our 3rd Annual Jam for the Dam—our biggest and best event yet!

Enjoy live music by Brian Caldwell and Paul from Highland Way, wine tastings from 10 local wineries, and a beautiful afternoon supporting the conservation and stewardship of Lake Hodges.

We’re proud to celebrate the completion of a meaningful Girls Scout Bronze Award project at Lake Hodges!

After researching the needs of the community and the lake environment, these dedicated Scouts identified a lack of proper fishing line disposal and recycling stations around the lake. With the support of the City of San Diego and Friends of Lake Hodges, they selected the ideal location and successfully completed their project.

Today, the final fishing line recycling station was officially installed at the boating ramp! This project helps protect wildlife and preserve the natural beauty of the lake by encouraging visitors to properly dispose of and recycle used fishing line instead of leaving it in nature.

We are incredibly proud of these young leaders for their hard work, research, and commitment to protecting our environment and community. 🌿🎣

Earth Day clean up at Lake Hodges was a huge success 🌎✨

105 amazing volunteers — kids, young adults, and older generations — came together and removed 224.3 lbs of trash from our beautiful lake.

Today we were invited to speak and help bring these dedicated fishermen up to speed on the latest updates about Lake Hodges and the work we’ve been doing with Friends of Lake Hodges.

Rhonda, the president of Friends of Lake Hodges, delivered an amazing presentation—clear, informative, and full of passion for protecting and restoring our lake. We’re grateful for the warm welcome and the opportunity to share our mission.
