Celebrating our AANHPI Staff! In honor of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, we are celebrating our staff, clients, volunteers, and donors. We asked our staff to share what this month means to them personally and how they see their culture reflected in the work they do at Interfaith. Read their quotes above.
Thank you to George, Yvette, Anna, Mitchell, and all our AANHPI staff for your compassion, diverse perspective, and dedication to the work we do and the people we serve.

Meet Karen and Bill Tincup! Married couple, Karen and Bill, have been with Interfaith for over a year as intake volunteers. They help with intake, assessment, and referrals of new clients who come in seeking assistance. They have exceeded their roles, bringing quality and friendly service to the people we serve.
Additionally, Bill helps out at the front desk while Karen gives her time to our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Thank you to the Tincups for using your free time to give back to the community. We appreciate your hard work and compassion.

Interfaith Community Services stands with our Islamic neighbors, friends, and partners in this heartbreaking moment. We are deeply saddened by the violence and extend our unwavering support and solidarity to the victims, their families, and the entire Islamic community of San Diego.
Our prayers are with the Islamic Center of San Diego - ICSD, their leadership, and all those affected.
For those who are able, please consider attending tonight's community vigil at 6:30 PM at Lindbergh Neighborhood Park, 4141 Ashford Street, organized by CAIR, the Islamic Center of San Diego, and the Muslim Leadership Council of San Diego. May we come together in love, healing, and interfaith solidarity.

Stamping Out Hunger! With the rising cost of living and the typical slowdown of food donations in the spring, the United States Postal Service stepped up again through the Stamp Out Hunger food drive. In partnership with local post offices and the community, we collected 10,220 lbs of food, refreshing our pantry supply.
Thank you to USPS for leading this effort and to the 19 volunteers, including students from Escondido Charter High School, for stepping up and ensuring our neighbors have access to vital food and resources.
