Class of 2026! Today, graduates from The Classical Academy high school seniors came back to visit our elementary school. In this graduating class, there are 56 lifers! That means that they attended Classical from Kindergarten all the way through their senior year. We love this tradition and having our students come back and encourage our students.

As students transition from middle school to the more independent environment of high school, they need to learn to manage responsibilities and solve problems on their own. While parents naturally want to help their children succeed, stepping in too quickly can prevent students from developing confidence, resilience, and accountability. High School Counselor Kennedy Ursua encourages families to shift from “rescuing” students to supporting them through challenges. She recommends allowing students to experience safe failures, asking guiding questions, and encouraging teens to communicate directly with teachers when issues arise. By working together, parents and school counselors can help students build the independence and life skills needed to succeed in high school and beyond.

Join us for the end-of-year Choir Concert on Saturday, May 30th, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at The Village Church in Rancho Santa Fe.
The concert features choir ensembles from 1st grade through high school, along with a classical guitarist, string quartet, accompanist, and student musicians. Suggested donations support venue and event costs, but all are welcome, and no one will be turned away. We hope to see you there! 🎶
