We can't wait for Saturday!

Spooky Season destination 10 of 30…The annual Fright Hike in Estherville, Iowa is not for the skittish this Saturday, October 17th. The “lights on” 1/2 mile trail through Fort Defiance State Park is the tamed version of these haunted woods. After the first hour the “full scare” is conducted and I recommend checking your blood pressure before setting foot on this demented journey. Making a splash in our community!

The Lead the Ville Class of 2026’s class project is ready for you to enjoy! New water fountains are installed along the walking path at these locations:

📍 Riverside Park
📍 2nd Avenue N.

One more fountain is still coming to Fitzgibbon Park!

Next time you’re out for a walk, stop by and enjoy a refreshing drink. Thank you to the Class of 2026 for bringing this project to life and making Estherville an even better place to live, play and explore!

A big CONGRATULATIONS to Makayla Jones and Jill White, our two Sip the Ville Grand Prize winners!

Last Thursday, we had 150 people come out to Sip the Ville for an evening of shopping, sipping, and supporting our local businesses!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us and to all of our amazing participating businesses who helped make this year’s event such a success! ❤️

We love seeing our community come together for a fun night in Estherville, and we can’t wait to do it again next year!
