This isn’t just a graphic. It’s reality for volunteer fire departments all around us.
Our local departments are hurting for members. The people answering calls at 2 AM, leaving dinner tables, ball practices, church, work, and family gatherings are volunteers—and there simply aren’t enough of them.
You don’t have to walk in already knowing how to fight fire. We can teach you. You don’t have to be fearless, superhuman, or have a certain background. Departments need firefighters, drivers, support personnel, and people willing to learn and serve.
Because when someone’s house is burning, when there’s a wreck, or when a neighbor needs help, somebody has to answer that pager.
What if one day, nobody does?
If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, please reach out to your local volunteer fire department. They need you more than you probably think
