πŸ’œ Wear Purple. Make a Statement. Start a Conversation.

Purple Thursday is about more than showing support. It's about raising awareness, breaking the silence, and starting conversations about domestic violence.

The reality is, we all know someone who has been impacted by abuse, whether we realize it or not.

Today, our Hope & Safety Alliance team is proudly wearing purple to stand with survivors and encourage our community to do the same.

Sometimes, something as simple as wearing purple can start a conversation that makes a difference. πŸ’œ

Wearing purple. Raising awareness. Standing with survivors. πŸ’ͺTogether, we're making a statement! 🀩

πŸ’œ Supporting survivors starts with believing them.

You don't need to have all the answers to make a difference. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is listen, offer compassion, and respect someone's choices.

Every survivor deserves dignity, safety, and the freedom to decide what comes next.

Believe. Listen. Support.

πŸ’œ Why purple?

Purple has long been a symbol of courage, survival, and solidarity in the movement to end domestic violence.

On Purple Thursday, we wear purple to honor survivors, remember those we've lost, and show our commitment to building a community free from abuse.

Every shade of purple sends the same message: Survivors are not alone.

πŸ’œ Awareness starts with conversation.

Domestic violence often happens behind closed doors, but its impact reaches far beyond them.

By talking openly about abuse, challenging harmful beliefs, and listening without judgment, we help create a community where survivors feel safe coming forward.

Breaking the silence can be the beginning of change.
