Euless Fire Department

Our Euless Fire S.A.F.E.T.Y. Clown Troop was back in town for Fire Prevention Month, bringing the laughs and some very important fire safety lessons to our local schools!

This year’s show, Clown Story: Fully Charged, covered:
🚒 Lithium-ion battery safety
🚒 Never leave cooking unattended
🚒 Having an E.D.I.T.H. plan (Exit Drills In The Home)
🚒 How to use a fire extinguisher
🚒 Testing smoke alarms monthly and changing batteries twice a year

Take a few minutes to talk with your kids about what they learned, practice your home escape plan, and make sure everyone in your family knows what to do if a fire happens. The clowns may have been silly, but there’s NO CLOWNIN’ WITH FIRE!

At the request of the State, water rescue squads from Euless and Haltom City (along with others) are headed west of the metroplex to assist our fellow Texans with the flooding potential from the remnants of Hurricane Simon.

Mother nature may have rained on Open House over the weekend, but we simply can't let great food go to waste! H-E-B was lined up to cater Open House and was kind enough to hold the food over the weekend for us to share it with you all on National Night Out! If your neighborhood doesn't have a NNO event planned, we'd love for you to stop by the Mid-Cities H-E-B location and celebrate NNO with - we'll have BBQ sandwiches (while supplies last), firefighters, and a fire engine to check out (subject to emergency calls).

🚨 OPEN HOUSE UPDATE 🚨

Due to the weather forecast, our Public Safety Open House scheduled for tomorrow, October 3rd, has been CANCELLED.

We were really looking forward to seeing everyone and showing off everything we had planned! But don’t worry, the Open House isn’t gone for good. We’ll be rescheduling for a date in the spring. We don’t have a date set just yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as we do!

In the meantime, we hope to see everyone at National Night Out on Tuesday, October 6th!

Thank you for understanding, and stay safe!
