We had a “spooky” good time with our 1st graders at Davenport and Germantown Hills this month!

Our Ag in the Classroom lessons were all about corn! Students put their STEM skills to the test building towers with corn-based packing peanuts, only to discover that their building materials were dissolving and disappearing like ghosts!

Who knew learning about corn could be so spooky AND fun?!

Membership Monday | Meet Director Ralph Noe

Get to know Woodford County Farm Bureau Director Ralph Noe!

A few quick facts about Ralph:

• Has served on the Woodford County Farm Bureau Board of Directors since 1989!
• Owns and operates Noe Family Farm, a 150-year-old sesquicentennial family farm.
• Raises corn, soybeans, wheat, hay, and hogs, along with melons and flowers sold locally.
• You can find their farm products at the Metamora Farmers Market, Metro Centre, and their farm stand in Spring Bay.

His advice to fellow members? "Get involved. We're a grassroots organization, but it takes everyone to be a part of the grass."
