📚 New Display at the Eureka Library! 📚

The Eureka Historical Society is excited to share a new display at the Eureka Library on Workman Road near Six Flags, created by our secretary Kim Daman-Scheel and member Shari Hinni of the Wednesday Club of Eureka. The display will be on view until August 29!

Kim and Shari had a wonderful time putting this collection together, bringing together photographs, documents, and a variety of vintage items that help tell the story of Eureka and the people who have called it home.

Among the special items are many vintage treasures Shari has collected from garage sales dating back to the late 1960s. You’ll also find a vintage toy tractor that belonged to John Howald, an arrowhead collection belonging to Kim’s father, Dr. George Daman of the Eureka Vet Clinic, and wooden blocks featuring Native American figures that Shari’s husband woodburned and painted as a child.

Stop by the Eureka Library before August 29 and take a look at this special display created by Kim and Shari!
