It was a privilege to participate in the dedication of a plaque honoring Rudy Montejano and the Rudy Montejano Early College Scholarship.

This scholarship is a wonderful way to honor Rudy’s legacy while continuing to invest in the future of our students. It represents the power of education, the importance of opportunity, and the lasting impact one person can have on the lives of others.

A special thank-you to former EVSC Superintendent David Smith for his support and for helping establish the Early College student scholarship in Rudy’s honor.

Congratulations to Brayden, the very first recipient of the Rudy Montejano Early College Scholarship!
