Join ODAT Services for our Employer Engagement Workshop on Friday, October 23rd from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM in Everett!

This interactive workshop is designed to help individuals build confidence when connecting with employers, interviewing, networking, and navigating the job search process. Participants will learn how to:
✅ Create a powerful 30-second introduction
✅ Address employment gaps and past challenges professionally
✅ Practice employer and networking conversations
✅ Prepare for difficult interview questions
✅ Develop effective follow-up strategies
✅ Build a personalized 7-day job search plan

This workshop is especially beneficial for individuals overcoming barriers such as homelessness, incarceration, substance use, or mental health challenges.

In honor of Native American Day, ODAT Services is proud to recognize and celebrate the voices, stories, and cultures of our Native American team members.

Today, we are honored to feature Kelly Prayerwarrior, FCS Case Manager at ODAT Services and a proud member of the Quinault Indian Nation. Kelly Prayerwarrior is a devoted mother of seven, an individual in recovery, and a compassionate advocate who supports others on their recovery journeys every day. She brings both professional expertise and personal experience to the work she does and believes wholeheartedly that we do recover.

Looking for a pathway into the culinary industry? Volunteers of America Western Washington is offering a 10-week Culinary Workforce Training Program at the Lynnwood Neighborhood Center designed to help participants gain hands-on kitchen experience, develop workplace skills, and connect with employment opportunities.

✅ Learn culinary and food service skills
✅ Build communication, teamwork, and time management skills
✅ Receive job search support and employer connections
✅ Earn a Food Handler Card with fees covered by the program

This program is open to eligible adults who are low-income, authorized to work in the U.S., and ready to take the next step toward employment.
