Appeal your property tax assessment with the Cook County Board of Review on Tuesday, October 21 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Evergreen Park Public Library.

The deadline to apply has been extended!

Eligibility for the Cook County Homeowner Relief Fund has been expanded and the deadline to apply has been extended to Oct. 31, 2025, to help more homeowners.

Updated eligibility requirements include:
🏠 You must own and occupy the property as your primary residence.
💵 Your total household income must be at or below 100% of the Cook County Area Median Income (AMI).
📈 Your property tax bill must have increased by at least 30% (previously the threshold was 50%) in any of the 2021, 2022 or 2023 tax years.

Resident children up to 11 years old (with a guardian) are invited to join us for the annual Halloween Parade, October 24 from 6:00-7:30 PM at the Community Center. NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR!
